Nika Burnett is an actor and filmmaker from Northern California with a degree in philosophy and background in athletics. Amazon Prime hosts her feature film BRINDISI which is a bilingual Italian comedy in the style of 1960s Italian cinema. She writes feature films across genres with a common through line of female identity and interest in foreign language. Her female sports screenplay POLO just made the 2023 Blacklist and was featured in FORBES as one of the best 10 scripts on the list. She has made over 10 short films, including the most recent bilingual Italian/English drama FOUR CHAIRS which won Best Actress at the Seville Film Festival and was a part of the American Cinemateque's inaugural PROOF film festival in 2023. She lives between Los Angeles and Paris, having worked in France as a director and editor to continue pursuing her goal of making bilingual independent cinema.
